Bicycles stall, planter, sitting

POSTAZIONE is an installation for the city and the open spaces. It consists of two distinct but complementary artifacts that denote two distinct but related actions: reaching and stopping.

The first element is a platform made by a massive slab in Grigio Alpi Stone with four grooves to accommodate bicycles’ wheels: the bicycle is positioned and fixed to a pedestal system / bracket rusted corten iron plate that is also a floor lamp for night illumination.

The second element is a bench that creates a “microcosm”, a kind of miniature garden constructed with corten steel plates, subdivided into smaller basins, containing stone, water, wood and earth.
